Asia presents the evolutionary process of its trial and error, its observations and conclusions, in a pedagogical and didactic way, from the other year of work at Tamat. Asia Nyembo revisits African textiles, focusing its research on a plant fiber, raffia.

His experimental, deep and thoughtful approach, the analyzer of matter, its texture, its coloring potential, through rigorous experiments, an image of scientific research, a trace of his steps.

The bread of wax becomes the ground of his experiments, mixes of textile, of foreign origin but it has imposed itself in the Congolese culture to the detriment of the traditional 'velvets'. Construction process by cutting and assembly by assembly by alteration, textile, destructure, change its texture, flexibility and appearance.

Aerial of the fire and the fire, the fiber of raffia becomes a dye in elaborate and subtle nuancier. This experimental dye is applied to the disappearing Wax fabric, obscured under the black layers of the raffia dye. It is used for rhythmic patterns printing fabrics, empirically, textile paintings.
